1. Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro 128GB variant with 6GB RAM goes on sale on April 10 - Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage will finally be available for sale tomorrow. The smartphone was initially launched in two storage variants – 4GB RAM variant with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM variant with 128GB storage. However, only the 4GB RAM variant was available for purchase till now. The company has announced that customers will now be able to buy the 6GB RAM variant with 128GB storage finally.


2. Huawei P30 Pro, P30 Lite launched in India: Price, specifications, features - Chinese smartphone maker Huawei has launched its newest quad-camera flagship smartphone, the P30 Pro, and the lower variant P30 Lite for the Indian market. The Huawei P30 Pro was launched alongside the regular P30 at an event in Paris last month, and has now been launched in India. With the Huawei P30 Lite and P30 Pro, the company, which recently became the second largest smartphone maker, will try to challenge the likes of Samsung, Apple and OnePlus in the premium segment.


3. Vivo becomes PUBG Mobile Open Contest 2019 sponsor - Vivo has announced that it will be the official sponsor of PUBG Mobile Club Open 2019. The esports tournament is the biggest championship event of the year showcasing the best pro/semi-pro players in the world. The game will have 16 different teams from ten major regions such as Southeast Asia, China, Europe, North America, India, Japan, Middle East, South America, Korea, and a wildcard. The registration for the game was open from March 8 to March 18, and the online qualification rounds were held from March 22 to March 31. The game has a prize money of $2.5 million (around Rs 17.35 crore).


4. Lenovo Z6 Pro confirmed to house Snapdragon 855 SoC ahead of launch in April - Lenovo will launch a new smartphone, called Lenovo Z6 Pro, in China this month. The device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset. The company confirmed this information via a teaser shared on Weibo. Furthermore, recently Lenovo‘s VP Chang Cheng hinted via a Weibo post that the device would be capable of producing 100-megapixel images.


5. Samsung Galaxy A90 leak reveals Snapdragon 7150, 48-megapixel camera and more - New information about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A90 has surfaced online. As part of the recent leak, detailed specifications for the device have leaked revealing some important details. This information comes right before Samsung is planning to launch a new device at a launch event on April 10. According to the report, the device is likely to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 7150 SoC. We have not really heard anything about the SoC which means that the Galaxy A90 may be the first smartphone to launch in the market with the said processor.

As per leakster Ishan Agarwal, who has a decent record with leaks, Xiaomi will launch the Redmi 7 in India sometime this month. The affordable smartphone was launched in China just last month. While there is no official word yet from Xiaomi, the leakster is confident that the device is coming later this month.

Xiaomi decides to stop software support for its Redmi Note 4, Redmi 4A, Redmi 4 and more - Chinese smartphone maker and electronics giant Xiaomi has just made a new announcement regarding the software support for its Redmi branded devices. As part of the announcement, the company is stopping updates to the developer ROM for a number of Redmi smartphones. As part of a dedicated post on Mi forums, the company revealed that this means that the devices in question will not get new updates to MIUI Beta builds. According to the announcement, the affected devices include Redmi Note 4, Redmi 4A, Redmi 4 series, Redmi Pro, Redmi Note 3 SE, and Redmi 3S/3X.
