1. Nepal bans PUBG over concerns of addiction and aggression - PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) isn’t as talked about as Fortnite and Apex Legends are, but it’s still a popular game. Unfortunately, that popularity came at a cost in Nepal — the country issued a ban on PUBG earlier today, reported Reuters.
The Nepal Telecommunications Authority (NTA) issued the ban at the request of the country’s federal investigation agency. According to NTA deputy director Sandip Adhikari, PUBG is “addictive to children and teenagers” and that parents were worried that the game distracted children from their studies and other duties.


2. Samsung Galaxy S10 software update - The new Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ flagship smartphones from Samsung have a lot going for them. They are feature packed with triple rear cameras, punch-hole selfie camera, top of the line chipset, more RAM and storage. Both the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ are also Samsung’s first smartphones to come with an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. And while users complained about them being slow, Samsung is addressing those issues with the new software update.


3. PUBG Mobile 0.12.0 update scheduled to come with ‘Darkest Night mode, ghouls and toxic gas - There is new content coming to PUBG Mobile and it couldn’t be more exciting for the players. The last big update to the game saw the introduction of the Zombie mode where players were able to fight and take on zombies alongside other players. Players are able to take on the monsters and abominations from the Resident Evil 2 game in this mode and had to survive three nights and eliminate all opposition in order to win the game. And now Tencent Games is continuing its relationship with Capcom and is revamping the existing ‘Survive till Dawn’ mode in what can be called a 2.0.


4. Huawei MateBook E 2019 with Snapdragon 850 SoC, Windows 10 launched - Huawei has launched a new 2-in-1 notebook in China, which is a fan-less always-connected PC. The device is driven by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Snapdragon 850, and it runs Windows 10 Home. The chipset is accompanied by 8GB of RAM, and up to 512GB of UFS storage. The MateBook E comes with an always-connected feature as it offers support for 4G LTE which covers network bands in most regions.
The latest Huawei notebook features a touchscreen display with narrow borders. The MateBook E flaunts a 12-inch along with a resolution of 2160×1440 pixels, 3:2 aspect ratio, and a 160-degree viewing angle. Additionally, the touch-screen also offers an oleophobic coating to help keep it free from smudges and scratches. The company asserted that the notebook has a TUV Rheinland certification as well.


5. New HTC smartphone visits Geekbench with Snapdragon 710 and 6GB RAM - A new HTC smartphone has been spotted on Geekbench with a good upper-midrange Snapdragon chipset. The unknown HTC device is listed with 2Q7A100 model number on the Geekbench benchmarking platform. The listing hints that the handset could be built around the Snapdragon 710 SoC, backed by 6GB of RAM. This chip could be considered as one of the best SoC until the recent launch of Snapdragon 730 chip, GSMArena reports.
